1. Harvard University (MA)
*    Thanks Tom....I'm glad to know we've got quality people like yourself out there helping educate parents and players about the college process.  Every person you help is one less potential headache for coaches....everything you do is greatly appreciated!  Be sure to keep in touch and let me know if I can ever be of help to you.
    - Women’s Soccer
*   Tom, thanks for the update. A former Harvard captain will be working the honor roll showcase and will see him there and please tell Brian to introduce himself.
     - Baseball
*   Thanks for taking the time to write on Maya's behalf. At this point, as you say, we are wrapping up our recruiting, so I will not be able to support Maya in the admissions process. However, as you also point out, she is a very strong candidate on her own, and I agree with you that she will probably have a lot of choices for college.
     - Women's Lacrosse
*   I haven't yet received the transcript and test score information I requested from Michael. Until I have that information on file, Michael will not be one of my "active" recruits. Thank you!
     - Men's Water Polo
*    I don't think he needs to take all three subject test to get his early read, but in order to get his likely letter he will need to have a completed application with all his test scores included, interviews done etc.
    - Men’s Soccer
*    Thanks so much Tom. I appreciate your email and will be sure to contact you if I have any questions.  Again, thank you for contacting us..she seems like an incredible student-athlete, and we're anxious to learn more about her.

*   Late June will be best. We can not meet with student athletes during the recruiting period in July.
     - Men's Basketball
*    As an FYI I wanted to let you know that we have made an offer to list Jenner and support him with admissions.  He sounds very excited about it and I have suggested he discuss it with his parents before making any kind of definite commitment.
     - Men's Soccer
*    I can’t remember what I said but you are correct that the incoming classes for freshmen over a 4 year period have to average one standard deviation from the regular incoming class.  You can see why that creates variances among schools as to who can be admitted.
    - Women’s Basketball
*    Yes I remember her I do not think so but that was 5 months ago and she works hard. So I will take a look. I could be wrong
    - Woman’s Soccer

     - Baseball
*    The other two sound great as well, so anything you can do to help us get as much information (including videos) about all is wonderful and very much appreciated.  It sounds like they have other special qualities that make them stand out from others which is something we are always looking for in MIT student-athletes.
    - Men’s Basketball
*    I have been working with Amelia for over a year and still am hoping she will be admitted regular action. She is a good candidate overall.

     - Men's Soccer
*   Thank you for thinking of Chicago. I will pass this information along to our assistant who recruits DC.
     - Football
*    If you want you can have the guy e-mail me and I'll send him a questionnaire and we'll add him to our list. We will be focusing more on women this year as we only brought in only one good player this year, so if you know of anyone we're looking to bring in at least 5.
    - Tennis
*    Hey Tom!  Thanks so much for your e-mail. Yes, we have been in contact with Renna and we continue to be intrigued with her interest in our university and basketball program.

    - Women’s Volleyball

12. Northwestern University (IL)
*   Thanks for the note Tom. I am planning on going to Nomads should we get ousted from the NCAAs vs. Creighton. If not, I will have to see them at another venue. Keep me posted and again, I will certainly watch them play should I be in attendance.

*  Please don't misunderstand me on one fact. We DO want him here. I am going to support him 100%.
     - Men's Track
*     Thanks for the email and information on theses kids.  At this time we are not looking to add any more players as we only graduate 2 and have had a great ED class of 5. If any of theses kids come on their own, I would be happy to offer them a tryout.
    - Men’s Soccer
*    By the way, I`m definitely looking for defenders, since we`re graduating at least half, maybe three quarters of our starting back four.
    - Women’s Soccer
*  Unfortunately I won't be in Reno but would love to get some film on all 3. Currently Zoe has been in touch with me and we are recruiting her for next year. We are offering a camp at the end of July if any of them are interested in attending. I believe Zoe is going to Georgetown's camp earlier in July.  Thanks for reaching out and contacting me.
    - Women’s Volleyball

*   Thanks for your assistance and we hope things work out for Blake - whatever he decides to do.

     - Men's Soccer
*    As a sophomore that's a good time and some very solid scores. Engineering is very pragmatic. They want excellent math/science scores and A's in math/Science along with no C's anywhere on the transcript. I look forward to hearing from him.
    - M. Track
*    We both are, see you there!
    - Women’s Soccer
*    All four have been in contact with us and are on our radar. We won't be attending Fiesta this year, so I will have to catch them later in the club season.
    - Women’s Volleyball

T15. Brown University (RI)
*   I watched Taylor's new video today and saw improvements. I would like to meet with her, but can't guarantee support at this time. As you mentioned, her test scores would need to increase.
     - Women's Gymnastics
*    Thanks for the email.  We are still very interested in Bryce although we have not got an official visit confirmation out of the process.  I am planning on speaking with him this evening and setting something up.  We have not got an early read yet but will discuss this evening.
.     - Baseball
*    Bryan does have good footwork – a nice change of direction.  His speed is decent.  He has the athletic talent to play college lacrosse.  However, I am almost done with my recruiting and we will be unable to support him.
    - Men’s Lacrosse
*    I heard you spoke with Coach Noonan.  Let us know if there's anything else we can do for you.
    - Men’s Soccer

T17. Rice University (TX)
*   Thank you for writing to Rice University and recommending Jonathan. He possesses an excellent background. At this point I cannot say if we will be signing a kicker this February.      - Football
*   Thank you for the information. We will try to find her and watch her team.
     - Women's Volleyball
*    I saw dad's e-mail was to you, so sent msge to you to actually avoid dad/walk-on scenerio as we will have the full 15 on scholarship next year.
Suggestions? Have you seen her play?

     - Men's Soccer

20. Emory University (GA)
*    Thank you for your note regarding these 3 girls.  I have been corresponding with them quite frequently over the past months and looking forward to watching them play in person.  Each girl seems to be well educated on the DIII recruitment process in terms of looking to visit in the summer and make an ED1 decision for their best fit.  Thank you again for your input.
    - Women’s Soccer
*   I appreciate the detailed note on Lauren. Yes, Emory's standards are challenging; however demographics do matter. Emory would appreciate more from the West Coast enrolling into our university.
     - Softball
*    Thanks for the email.  The kid always finds a way to succeed.  He is great about keeping us informed on his progress.  I hope he can do something with his career.  Thanks again for thinking to email me.  I appreciate it.
     - Baseball
*    Had the opportunity to see Luke play this week.  He really knows how to play and gets a lot done on the court.  He has a chance to be a pretty good player.  How is his recruiting going at this time?  Thank you for your insight.
    - M. Basketball
*    I liked both Patrick and Rich.  Both would be players that we would be interested in for next year but hope to either see again either at our camp, tape or another tournament.   But they both had enough ability that we will contact them.
    - Men’s Soccer
*    Zoe has been on our radar for almost two years now, and came to camp last summer. Do you have an opinion on her?  I'll contact the other two young ladies. Thank you very much for the information.

    - Women’s Soccer

T22. University of California, Berkeley
*   Thanks for the heads up on Dom.  We just don't have any roster space to add anyone at this point.  If he decides to go to Cal, we can look at him in the spring of '10.
     - Men's Soccer

T23. Carnegie Mellon University (PA)
*   Thank you for the update on Jonathan. It sounds like he is having a great year. We are definitely interested in recruiting a kicker this year! Please ask him to get me a tape when possible.
     - Football
*    From what I've seen at Nomads and what coach and I have seen from his video, we feel that he would be about to get some sub time this year or be a developing player for next year.  However if he comes in and knocks our socks off he could be starting this season.
     - Men's Soccer
*
Thank you so much for all your help with Renna.  We are very excited and interested in the idea of Renna joining our program.  Thank again for all your help and I look forward to talking to you again soon.

    - Women’s Soccer

T25. University of Virginia
*   Thanks for the head's up. I was able to watch her play out in Salt Lake City over the course of the tournament. Please don't hesitate to recommend any other players you think might be a good fit for all UVA has to offer.
     - Women's Volleyball
*    I look for kids with 3.2 gpa and above and 1050 SAT and above.  We don't have set standards but, this is probably the cut-off unless we really push for the player.
     - Baseball
*    Thanks Tom, I'll be out there in a couple of weeks for the Surf Cup.
    - Men’s Soccer
*    If you get a chance can you give me a call or let me know what is the best number to reach you at.  Just want to touch base with you about Carly Brahim!
    - Women’s Soccer

T25. Wake Forest University (NC)
*   Thanks for the info on the players. The biggest issue for us is seeing the guys play. Without ever having seen this young men play it makes things difficult. A video is one way and it can give us an indication but thats about all. I am sure you understand. Anyway thanks for the update.
     - Men's Soccer
*    Thanks for the information on some of the players you have seen. With our small roster size it is difficult to bring in too many guys. If something changes I will be sure to let you know. Please feel free to get in contact with us anytime you know of players you feel can play at this level.

     - Football
*    We're not real excited about lightweights because they have to compete against heavyweights here, unless they are really good.  Erg scores similar to Colin's would make us look twice.
    - Crew
*    Great to meet you in San Diego. We are certainly interested in both of those guys. Please make sure that they keep us updated on their academics as well as their summer schedule.
    - Men’s Lacrosse
*    I am away on vacation the next 2 weeks.  I always encourage players to visit the campus, even if we cannot meet.

They are all 4 stars in my book (4 being the highest!).   We are really recruiting middles and Oh's these next 2 years. Thank you for connecting us all!
    - Women’s Volleyball

*   Hi Tom, I sent Blake an email earlier today before I received your email. Yes, I am interested and would definitely support his application!
     - Men's Swimming

    - Baseball
*     I liked all three of your players and for different reason, as you stated. They are all solid technically on the ball. Hannah and Carly both have great range. Taylor has very good vision and make things happen for her team. I will be contacting them all soon  but I would like to know where we stand as all the UAA coaches were watching them as well as BU -etc.
    - Women’s Soccer

T35. University of California, San Diego

     - Men's Track
*   Have Eric call or email and we can see what we can do.
     - Men's Lacrosse
*    I'm excited about Alex.  Ali is still recovering from knee surgery.  The team did well but she seemed to be dragging the leg a bit - no real explosion yet.  You can see that she can play.  Will probably improve but I will need to see her later this spring before making and decisions moving forward.
    - Women’s Soccer

*    I wanted to touch base and see where some of the guys you are working with are in the college search.  John told me he is trying to go D.I.  Henry has an ED wish.  My interest lies most with Brandon.  Alex seems luke warm at best about us.

*    Thanks a lot for your help in everything with Charli.  I will certainly be recruiting her as I think an attitude like hers is very hard to find.  Please do keep me posted with everything, but for 2011, she will be one of my top considerations.

*    Nick reminded me of Adam. He came in last fall for an unofficial visit and saw one of our games. I remember him as a big, strong kid but I haven't seen him play.  I will in the upcoming weeks.
